To be considered for the Alice Buffett Outstanding Teacher Award a teacher must:

• Be a certified Omaha Public Schools teacher or counselor (any grade level or subject)
• Have two or more years of teaching experience

Teachers cannot nominate themselves.

• Nominations can be submitted by students, former students, parents, fellow teachers, administrators and the general public. 
• Nominations must be received no later than January 15, 2012.
